Aljubarrota IT is the technology arm of the Aljubarrota group — a small, senior team with no middlemen.
We build software for companies that need more than a prototype: operational systems, customer-facing apps, internal platforms — engineered to grow with the business, not just to demo well.
We work in short cycles, in direct collaboration with the people making the calls. Every line of code we ship is written by the same team that will maintain it long-term. Based in Lisbon, we serve clients across the Iberian Peninsula — in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

How fast can I have something in production?
A focused MVP typically ships to production in 6 to 12 weeks. Larger platforms — multi-tenant SaaS, native mobile apps — reach a first release in 3 to 6 months and then evolve continuously with weekly demos.
How does pricing work?
Fixed price for scoped MVPs; milestone-based billing for larger builds; flat monthly retainer for maintenance and ongoing evolution. No surprise bills: every phase is scoped and priced before it starts.
Who owns the code?
You do. 100% of the source code, data and IP are yours from day one. The repo can live in your GitHub/GitLab or ours and be transferred anytime — no lock-in.
Who actually writes the code?
Our senior in-house team. Nothing is subcontracted out to unknown freelancers or third-party agencies. The people you meet in Discovery are the same people who build and maintain the product.
How do we communicate during the project?
Direct Slack or WhatsApp channel with the team building. Weekly video demos, async updates in between. No account managers filtering information.
What happens after launch?
We stay with the product. Active monitoring, fixes, new features and continuous evolution under a flat monthly retainer. We don't do handoffs — production is where software actually has to work, and that's where we spend most of our time.
